Description

The creation of “un coup de don” started with Carlotta Ikeda’s request for the last Ariadone’s performance. At the time, Carlotta was suffering from a backache and her age was making it difficult for her to continue dancing, so it was already decided that this work would be the last Ariadone work to be choreographed by Ko Murobushi. Its concept, composition, direction, choreography, and all other elements were supervised by Murobushi. Furthermore, this work was created for the first time with male dancers in Ariadone and well received by many audiences as a work that served as a premonition for new possibilities in dance.
