Experience of aphasia caused by stupefaction through an encounter with the unidentified unknown.
—Dance is eroticism which emerges in a moment, for an instant.
All forms collapse. And dance is revealed in that collapse.
Our dance is also that process at stake of erasure and emergence.
It is an incessant diving.
“There is a freedom and a becoming in dancing in a form of disability and a form of collapsing. ”
We can know more and more profoundly—About what?
About “distance”
Why do we feel more “distance” the closer something is to us?
Why are we fascinated by sick people and why do we even desire to get infected by them?
From the flyer
(Dance is) about defying expectations, and at the same time, about being defied; it is an event and incident that generates itself as something uncontrollable even if we wanted to control. In other words, it is a thrill of becoming, or the unexpected. It can also be said to be an antithesis to the constructed spectacle of dance and dance shows. I think about how I can get surprised on stage. The audience won’t be surprised by my body if it itself is not surprised. In that sense, dance is minute communication between the excessive things.
