The first performance of Ko Murobushi’s Company
The year of Hijikata’s death and UNESCO’s 40th anniversary were the same year. People who wanted to start a company under Ko Murobushi gathered in that year too, including Pierre Paulo, an acquaintance of a member of UNESCO, and Miskovitch, who proposed the project of PANTA RHEI. We performed it together. We gathered about fifty dancers from across Europe. Everybody painted themselves white, and we wriggled, like William Blake, or André Masson (laughs).
PANTA RHEI originates from the word “Heraclitus.” (Y.O)
