“Krypt”, “Sister Morphine”, Workshop, Experimental Body
2013
The serial work “Krypt” was taken from the meaning of the Greek word “krypte = hidden,” the semi-underground tomb in the sanctuary of a church called the “crypt.” In the book “The Wolf Man’s Magic Word,” Nicolas Abraham and Maria Torok interpret the “crypt” as a “hidden name,” and in “Fors,” the preface for the book, Jacques Derrida further attempts a stimulating reading comprehension of the word “crypt.” The title of this work may have been inspired from Derrida’s text.
