Now that more than 20 years have passed since the beginning of the 21st century, what can the attempt to stage Beckett's video work “Quad,” which brings to light the meaninglessness of theatrical performances, deliver to those of us who are thrown into an “age of war without revolution”? This is an attempt to explore these issues through symposiums, performances, and videos centered on “Quad,” a camp-like work that Beckett—a representative playwright of the 20th century, otherwise known as the “age of war and revolution”—arrived at.
