The research work with Ko was a very intense period for me. What really stayed with me was the concept of putting an idea deep inside you, pushing it to the limits, putting your consciousness in a very little part of the body and seeing it transform the presence of the whole body, … But I feel that it was only an introduction to his way of working. It left me keen to find out more and made me reflect on his choreographic process, his interest for the project and his questions. But above everything, it inspired me to continue searching for a different approach to movement, expression and "madness out of time" of "Nijinski à Minuit".
I am therefore very grateful for this opportunity, to come to Japan and to the Archive, to be able to go further in the process that we started in 2015 with Ko and how this can continue to change my approach to dance.
